The latest Expat explorer survey has found Australia to be “ideal” for Expats in terms of career prospects and quality of life
London, UK (Pryce Warner International) February 2nd, 2012 – The results came in after 3000 plus Expats around the world rated countries according to food, healthcare, commuting and lifestyle.
Overall Australia came out the best with roughly ten percent of respondents selecting it as the country they would most like to move to next. In addition to excellent quality of life and public services many respondents chose Australia due to the economy and weather.
Some have suggested that this indicated Expats are more concerned with quality of lifestyle and overall well being that simply financial matters.

The US came in second overall and was very close behind Australia, though it was voted as having better career opportunities and pay packages.
Singapore, a long-standing Expat hotspot, came third with nine percent of the votes. Many commented that the job prospects and exceptional quality of life made it a highly desirable and popular destination.
Hong Kong, Canada, The UK and France completed the top seven respectively. Expats in the UK and Hong Kong praised the pay packages while Canada’s excellent lifestyle opportunities cemented it’s place in the top ten.
