A new online visa application system is being rolled out by the UK Border Agency
London, UK (Pryce Warner International) February 9th, 2012 - As part of a plan to provide online services and amend their immigration laws, the UK Border Agency has announced that UK Visa applications for both adults and minors can now be fully completed online, via their new online customer accounts.
With a dedicated telephone service becoming defunct and all appointments being made online from February 1st, the UK Border Agency has introduced the account system for all registered visa applicants with a valid email address.

Whilst subject to stringent terms and conditions, facilities to make payments, arrange interviews and to access support will all be made available to applicants using the new online system and its many features from February 14th.
Any visa applications made for Middle Eastern countries such as Bahrain, the UAE or Oman, must now be paid for online, upfront and in US Dollars. This will apply from February 6th.
Despite the unavoidable need for essential documentation and biometric data which must be presented in person and within three working weeks, it’s widely hoped that the new process will speed up the process of visa applications.
