London, UK (Pryce Warner International) December 15th, 2011 – A survey conducted by Middle Eastern media groups found that Expats rated UAE’s lifestyle, infrastructure and growth prospects the best in the region.
This comes not just from western Expats but also Expats from the Indian Sub-Continent and the 200 000 strong Filipino population.
The survey considered economic, environmental, employment and cultural factors.
The full list of the 10 best cities was:
• Abu Dhabi
• Muscat
• Dubai
• Manama
• Tunis
• Sharjah
• Doha
• Kuwait City
• Marrakech
• Amman
Qatar and Saudi Arabia were the second and third most popular countries respectively.

UAE’s strong showing was partly down to the high salaries individuals can expect, especially those that work in the infotech sector, who are the best paid working group in the region and in the top 20 worldwide.
Of the best paying locations for that industry Switzerland was found to be the best with Belgium in second place.
The UAE has a long history of popularity with foreign workers and Abu Dhabi was ranked as the best city in MENA (Middle East North Africa) in 2010.
